Jack joined Tag Digital in October 2022, in that time he has progressed into his role as Head of Paid Social.

What did you do before working at Tag Digital?
Before joining Tag Digital, I was a Senior Paid Media Executive for a well-known eCommerce brand. Prior to that, I was a Digital Marketing Manager, and even further back, I organised and worked at events.
What attracted you to working at Tag Digital?
I was looking for a place where I could progress in my career while also making a personal move to Scotland.
Tag Digital offered the perfect opportunity for both professional growth and a new personal adventure in Glasgow.
How long have you worked at Tag Digital?
I have been working at Tag Digital for just under 2 years.
What is your role at Tag Digital? How have you progressed since you started?
I am currently the Head of Paid Social.
I initially joined the company as a Senior Paid Social Manager. Over time, I moved up to the role of Team Lead before reaching my current position as Head of Paid Social.
What does your role as Head of Paid Social entail?
In my role, I am responsible for our amazing paid social team.
I set the overall direction for the team in terms of how we run campaigns. On a more personal level, I focus on how each team member develops, with the help of social team leads, Charlotte and Jess.
What do you enjoy most about working at Tag Digital?
The team!
What is the best thing you have learned since working at Tag Digital?
Working with cultures all around the world and understanding the different communication styles and preferences they like to see has been an invaluable learning experience.
What is a standout moment in your career so far?
It’s really hard to pinpoint any one thing.
But more generally, I love genuinely helping each of the team to develop and progress. It has obvious impacts on their day-to-day work, and I hope they remember their time here as a highlight in their career.
What’s your favourite thing about your job?
I still love deep diving into data and uncovering hidden insights for our clients.
On a bigger scale, a lot of my job isn’t about instant wins – it’s about seeing things build and build over time. When it all comes together, it’s incredibly satisfying.
